Deleting items and charges from an open account
In the POS you have the option to delete products/charges from customer bills that are still to be settled. If the bill has had a charged added to it. It was an error from you, so then you can enter the account and delete this charge.
In the POS system click on the Pending Sales button. Now select the account you would like to edit in order. Along with having the option to generate the sale and settle the bill, you will also see the whole amount of products that have been added to this account and amount. Click on this to open a new window with a full breakdown.
As you can see in the image above, you can verify all item charges, they can be deleted by simply clicking on the trash icon.
A discount can be added to a customers bill in the POS. First of all you should configure default discounts for normal system users, by visiting the Configurations menu and selecting Default discounts. Here you can add and edit discounts that may be recurring, and can quickly be added to accounts in the POS.
Note: Only an administrator will have the option to create a custom percentage or monetary discount in the POS. Regular users can only chose from pre configured dicount options and amounts
When viewing a customers bill in the POS these pre-generated discounts will be enabled to add to the bill.
The following image shows an example of the discounts that have been created already, ready for the user to add automatically.
The following image shows the option that will be displayed for an administrator, where customs values can be chosen.
After applying the discount it will be shown on the bill and reflected on the final amount to be paid.
Note: if you want to delete the discount, just click on the trash icon located right next to the discount value.
You may also automatically add a service charge (Tip)
At the time of generate the sale, click on the green Service Charge button and you can select either the value or percentage of the total sales.
If a service charge is added then it will automatically be reflected in the total amount to be charged as you can see in the image below.
